From the block to the blogs, GlokkSavage is proving that his movement is unstoppable. For two straight weeks, he dominated Billboard Hip Hop (BillboardHipHop.com), holding down the coveted #1 trending spot—a feat that cemented his name among the most talked-about rising stars in the culture.

The momentum didn’t stop there. HipHopSince1987.com, one of the most influential Hip-Hop platforms in the world, officially named GlokkSavage “The Top Rapper to Watch in 2025.” That co-sign has the industry buzzing and fans watching closely to see what’s next.

Behind the scenes, major moves are happening. GlokkSavage recently signed a distribution deal with Roc Nation Distribution, giving him the infrastructure and reach to take his sound global. His latest visuals, “All Alone” and “How I Feel,” have already racked up over 50,000 organic views, further proof that his fan base is growing rapidly and authentically.

Guiding this breakout run is his manager Lavelle Holley, who’s focused on artist development and long-term success. Together with Tony DeYoung Entertainment, they’re crafting GlokkSavage into a complete artist—not just someone with hits, but someone who understands the business, the art, and the responsibility that comes with influence.

But what separates GlokkSavage from many new rappers isn’t just his chart momentum or his deals—it’s his mission for the community. He’s actively showing young people in his neighborhood that they don’t have to throw their lives away to the streets. Instead, he’s pushing them toward positive outlets like music, sports, or boxing—anything that builds their future instead of destroying it.

Songs Wire sat down with GlokkSavage for an exclusive interview where he opens up about his rise, his vision, and his responsibility as a leader for the next generation.

Exclusive Interview with GlokkSavage

Songs Wire | The Fox Commentary (SW): First off, congratulations on hitting #1 trending on Billboard Hip Hop for two weeks straight. What was that moment like for you when you saw your name at the top?

GlokkSavage (GS): Man, it was surreal. I remember refreshing the page just to make sure it was real. Coming from where I come from, you don’t always expect to see your name in lights, so to hit that #1 spot and stay there—it showed me that all the grind, all the late nights, all the sacrifices are paying off. It was motivation to go even harder.

SW: HipHopSince1987 just named you the top rapper to watch in 2025. That’s a huge title. Do you feel pressure carrying that kind of recognition, or does it motivate you even more?

GS: It’s definitely motivation. I know the eyes are on me now, and instead of feeling pressure, I look at it as an opportunity. HipHopSince1987 is a platform that’s put a lot of legends on people’s radar, so to be named by them means I gotta live up to that and keep proving why I deserve it.

SW: You just signed a major distribution deal with Roc Nation Distribution. That’s a major milestone in any artist’s career. How did that deal come together, and what does it mean for your future?

GS: The deal came from consistency. We were building momentum independently, and the numbers spoke for themselves. Roc Nation saw the vision, and we saw an opportunity to take things to the next level with the right structure. For me, it’s not just about signing a deal—it’s about creating longevity, having the resources to expand globally, and making sure my message gets heard worldwide.

SW: Your videos “All Alone” and “How I Feel” just passed over 50,000 organic views. How important is it to you to know that those views are real, organic, and built from your true fan base?

GS: That’s everything to me. Anybody can pay for fake numbers, but when I see those views and know they’re real people connecting with my story, it hits different. It means the music is resonating. It’s proof that people are rocking with me for me—not because of gimmicks, but because they feel the pain and the passion in the music.

SW: A lot of credit goes to your manager Lavelle Holley and the work he’s been doing in your artist development. How has his guidance, along with Tony DeYoung Entertainment, shaped you not only as an artist but also as a person?

GS: Lavelle has been a blessing, no lie. He’s teaching me the business side, showing me how to move smart and not just fast. Tony DeYoung Entertainment has been another big piece of the puzzle, helping me stay focused on the bigger picture. Together they’re helping me grow—not just as an artist who can rap, but as a professional who understands branding, networking, and building a legacy.

SW: One of the things people are starting to notice is that you’re very focused on giving back to your community. Can you talk about why it’s so important for you to help the youth stay off the streets?

GS: Because I was that kid once. I know how easy it is to get caught up in the wrong things when you don’t see another way out. But music gave me an outlet. Now, I feel like it’s my responsibility to show the younger generation that they can use their talents—whether it’s rap, singing, basketball, boxing, whatever—to build something real. If I can inspire even one kid to choose a different path, I’ve done my job.

SW: What advice would you give to a young kid in your neighborhood who feels like the streets are their only option?

GS: I’d tell them the streets don’t love you back. You might think it’s the only way, but it always ends the same—jail or worse. Find your passion and lock in on it. Use that same hustle and energy you put into surviving the streets and apply it to your craft, your sport, your business. There’s always another way, you just gotta believe in yourself and stay disciplined.

SW: With all the momentum behind you, what can fans expect next from GlokkSavage in 2025?

GS: 2025 is the takeover year. More music, more visuals, and my first big project under Roc Nation Distribution. I’m focused on growth, collaborations, and reaching people outside my city, outside my state—even outside the country. But at the same time, I’ll never forget where I came from, and I’ll keep using my platform to represent my people and my community.
