Dom Dolla Breaks the Record for Most People Who Came to Denver’s Civic Center Park

Denver’s Civic Center Park reached a new high this past weekend, when Dom Dolla brought in the biggest crowd in the park’s history, May 9-10. The DJ claimed this on social media.

The outdoor shows were a big deal for both the Australian house music superstar and Denver’s image as a hotspot for electronic music. There have been many dance shows in the park, including ones with Lane 8, Zeds Dead, and even a Boiler Room takeover. But this one was the best one yet.

Fans flocked to the downtown space because it had a great cast, including Cassian, who just recently played at the record-setting Las Vegas Sphere as part of Anyma’s groundbreaking “End of Genesys” residency, and Girl Math, which is made up of VNSSA and Nala.

On both nights, Dolla played a mix of new hits and older tracks that were influenced by the hedonistic house sound that has been at the heart of his fast rise to fame. His set went from day to night easily, with production elements that showed off both the architecture of the venue and the moody pull of his music. It happened at sunset.
