Here’s What Leah Remini Has to Say About Jennifer Lopez Feud Rumors

There is no animosity here. In a recent interview this week, Leah Remini discussed the state of her friendship with Jennifer Lopez.

After the superstar’s well-publicized breakup with Ben Affleck and her own divorce from ex-husband Angelo Pagán after over two decades of marriage, the Flight Risk actress told Us Weekly that she reconnected with her longtime friend, saying, “Right after the divorce, we’d text each other loving messages of support.”

However, there have been persistent whispers for years that the once-close best friends, who showcased their chemistry in the 2018 romantic comedy Second Act, are no longer together. However, Remini emphasized to the magazine that there was no quarrel of that kind taking place.

“Love doesn’t necessarily die when you don’t talk to people as much as you used to,” she said. “Friendships come and go. I don’t speak to a lot of my pals on a daily basis. The fact that I and they are in different places does not imply that we are at odds.

Even while Lopez hasn’t discussed her friendship with Remini in public, she has undoubtedly had a busy few weeks. She hosted and performed at the 2025 American Music Awards on Memorial Day before revealing Jennifer Lopez: Up All Night, her upcoming engagement in Las Vegas. She will be the main act on the opening night of the World Pride Music Festival in Washington, D.C., this weekend.

Next, J. Lo will co-star with Diego Luna and Tonatiuh in the big-screen Kiss of the Spider Woman adaptation. On October 10, the film musical, which is based on Kander and Ebb’s 1993 Broadway hit, will make its theatrical debut.
