Champagne Drip and Linney have come back together to make Story Arcs, an EP that mixes different types of music. It’s out now on Liquid Stranger’s Wakana label.

The three-track project expertly switches between future bass, house, dubstep, and drum & bass. Champagne Drip weaves his dreamlike production through Linney’s moving singing; Linney is a new member of the EDM.com Class of 2025. They worked together again on “In My Dreamz,” which came out in 2021. It’s another great song that hits a good balance between story and sound.

Chante Drip wrote on social media, “I put a lot of work into Story Arcs—it came from a real place and let me mix all the styles I love.”

The EP starts with “Inside Out,” a bass track that mixes Champagne Drip’s psychedelic soundscapes with Linney’s heartbreaking words. She then leads us through a kaleidoscopic dubstep routine in “Castle,” and the arrangement ends with an amazing four-on-the-floor drop. At the end, they play “Running,” a liquid drum & bass track with angelic voices over carefully sculpted drum patterns and neurobass.
